Western Wizards August Tournament Results

On the Third Wednesday of August 2014, twenty two sorcerers of the silver ball appeared at dusk.

Some had travelled from the far East.
Some had teleported from The North.
And some just appeared from Nowhere.

They burned with a lust for victory and a desire to conquer the mighty Wizards of The West.
 And forsooth a battle commenced!

 The Silversmith and the local Hambrothers fought hard alongside Papa Zog and the White Knight 2000.
Gold coins appeared and vanished as the spellbinding Linda kept tally of the treasure.
Until only the last eight stood.

Jonathon Crabbe fell to one knee, ambushed by the cloaked magician Robstog.
Wizard Wiglord wounded the sorcerer Starburg who vowed to return.
Shane of The West stood tall, slaying the magician Moore.
And Wizard Williamson cast his spell over the giant, Joel.
Then Shane forged through the fray to join the final battle, smashing Crabbe on his way.
In an epic battle that went down to the wire and then some, Shane finally succumbed and the wizard Wiglord narrowly fended off the magic of Robstog, to once again meet the sorcerer Starburg.
Face to face on the mountain top the Wizard and the Sorcerer drew level.
A flash of blinding light and Starburg stood alone, victorious.

 Well played first ever honorary High Wizard Luketh Starburg.
Thus again proving the Legend of The Lucky Dog, he cameth, he scored and he conquered.
He returns to his kingdom with a $50 bottle shoppe token, a $25 bottle shoppe token,
And the framed High Wizard Award… Ye Gads!
